Country girl through and through, you are more likely to find me in wellies and my dungarees than heels, but don't worry I scrub up well on the day! Green-fingered I absolutely love flowers, plants and creating your day all around the seasons.

Planning my own special day made me realise how much passion I had for weddings and so I decided I wanted to share that passion with other brides and grooms. I enrolled in the UK Wedding Academy diploma course to learn as much as I could about this fabulous wedding industry and become an accredited Wedding Planner & Stylist.

An advocate for small businesses I launched my own podcast all about companies and businesses who launched from their kitchen table and who are pioneering the way for start ups and the creative industry.

A keen eye for detail, interior design is a passion for Lauren, as is craft and design. A crafter herself, she has dabbled with embroidery, knitting, crochet, paper flowers, cross stitch, ceramics and jewellery making. A fully trained florist, Lauren can also help you with your flowery needs!

Music:

You'll find me usually belting away to Dolly Parton in the car on the way to weddings and client meetings. Proposal planning with Classic FM is a must, and some Motown, old-school Blink 182 or Dixie Chicks when pulling looks together!

Drink:

I have around 5 portable cups as I am never usually without a lovely hot drink be it an oat flat white, cuppa Earl Grey or a yummy natural mint tea. I also have a weakness for a delicious crisp glass of white wine, gin or espresso martini! Somerset gal through and through you might also find me with a lovely pint of true Somerset Cider!

Downtime:

When not wedding planning, meeting suppliers and couples you will find me pottering in the garden, running off to the seaside, ripping pages out of magazines for inspiration, or stomping around the countryside in my wellies foraging for delicious alpine strawberries and wild garlic. to put into my baking.

Love:

Romance, alliteration, striped clothing, dungarees, getting outside in all seasons, reading, rainbows, speeches at weddings, the 'first look' and listening to engagement stories!

Dislikes:

Spiders, snakes, dust, creased napkins and linens, late suppliers.

Do head over to the blog or listen to our podcast.

let love grow through seasonal, wild & slower living
